My good friend David Lobser just made it into Stash 41 with his short film “Elephant Girl”:

Music by Jamie Haggerty. “Elephant Girl” was previously accepted to Portland’s own Platform Animation Festival.

This is his second appearance in Stash, the first being an MTV promo in Stash 13 called “Little Girl Saw Mouth”:

David’s got a great quote in this TAXI Design Network article about the MTV book “On Air”:

My ideal work would be one that is both completely original and so obviously true as to seem snatched from a collective dream. Barring that, I would hope that at least my work would stir a sense of aesthetic sympathy.

You will agree that he has an excellent grasp of the ineffable. Naturally, he specializes in girls.
